Biography

Dr. Cornet joined KU's Department of Economics in 2004, and is Emeritus Professor at Paris School of Economics and at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He has been a Visiting Professor of Economics at New York University and Yeshiva University in New York City. 

Dr. Cornet's research focuses on financial economics and decision theory, economic theory and general equilibrium theory, dynamics models in economics, and optimization. 

He was named an Economic Theory Fellow at the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory, and he has served as president of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory (SAET), and as Executive Director and Secretary of SAET. He also has served as Editor of the "Journal of Mathematical Economics" and as Associate Editor of "Economic Theory, Economic Theory Bulletin," in addition to several other journals.
